Testimonials For Lisa Murphy Taylor & Health In Your Hands
“I am currently on such a path to a new way of living with the most capable efforts of Lisa Murphy-Taylor. Ms Murphy-Taylor is an excellent example of practicing what one preaches. She has coached me on how to eat better and supplement some needed nutrients. I have lost weight and feel less pain. After sessions in neurofeedback my enjoyment of life has improved to the point where my adult son is seeing changes in me and my relationship with my wife has improved markedly. I suffer from depression and seasonal affective disorder and I was skeptical of neurofeedback, but now I am an advocate of this brain training.” M.S.
“I originally looked into Neurofeedback to help my 12yr old daughter, who suffers from PTSD and a personality disorder. I researched the different types of Neurofeedback, & selected what seemed to be the most effective system. I wanted to try the process myself first, with the thought being that I wouldn’t subject my child to something I wasn’t willing to do myself. I am a cancer survivor, & have taken a number of medications related to post-chemo side effects for almost 10 years (with side effects from the meds themselves). I didn’t notice much for the 1st few sessions, but by the 4th session I was feeling positive improvements. By the 6th session the changes were so dramatic that I started to reduce my medications. I am now off all of my medications, & I haven’t felt this good in years. I have seen great improvements in my sleep, memory, concentration, & mental well-being. In addition to administering the Neurofeedback, Lisa provided health & wellness coaching. She invested the time to understand my needs & tailored her program accordingly. She is well qualified, with impressive credentials & extensive medical experience. I will definitely be putting my daughter through Lisa’s program based on the positive experience I had myself. ” G.S.
”I have completed 6 sessions with Lisa, I started using a video to help concentrate as I have difficulty falling asleep in sessions. However, by the last session I believe I had adopted an intention to relax into the potential of drifting off- which happened. I have experienced the following since using this therapy: I almost always fall asleep and wake up with 7-8 hours of complete sleep or if I wake up I can usually fall back to sleep. I have noticed a better sense of mindfulness and pause to and not always do habitual things, I can catch myself more readily when distracted and my dreams are more vivid and easer to remember. The mindfulness has played out in moments to choose to be more conscious to decide to watch TV or read a book or just sit quietly during free time. I plan on coming back for more sessions soon.” J.H.
“ I had sustained a head injury playing hockey. My life had changed as I was experiencing what they called “post concussive syndrome.” I had headaches, a terrible time focusing and sleep problems. Anxiety and flurries of stomach pain carried throughout my days. My sleep was filled with nightmares. I was not myself. After doing neurofeedback with Lisa my sleep improved and I was no longer grinding my teeth. I could get through school with better focus, without feeling sick to my stomach and I handled stress without the anxiety. I feel like my brain was rinsed and all my demons have been alleviated.” A.F.
